Switch to CS5 coming to all classes, beginning in July

We will begin the transition to Adobe CS5 in July, 2011. Other things to watch for as we move toward Summer I classes: weekly tutoring in techniques, software, anything you might be interested in learning. Please think about what you’d like to learn this summer, and we’ll begin to roll out tutoring sessions “above and beyond” what is covered in class.

One note to all who have Dreamweaver CS5: HTML5 is rigorously supported in the newest version! Check it out!

One Day for Design: April 13

How much do you care about design?
Join the AIGA online next Wednesday, April 13, to share your passion with the world.
Designers and design enthusiasts will come together for “One Day,” 24 hours of open, real-time conversation about the future of the design profession and the organizations behind it.
How to participate on April 13
Intrepid moderators—Alex Bogusky, Doug Bowman, Liz Danzico, Debbie Millman, Erik Spiekermann, Armin Vit, Alissa Walker and Katherine Walker—will be posting provocative questions on Twitter throughout the day. Questions and replies will be aggregated on, where anyone can comment—with or without a Twitter account.
The day starts early with questions from moderators in Europe, so as soon as you sit down with a cup of coffee on April 13, you can participate by tagging your tweets with #1D4D.
It’s going to be an incredible live event that you won’t want to miss. So block off time on your calendar for April 13 and make plans to join the conversation!
